Legends of Hockey game.

This weekend was the Hockey Hall of Fame induction for the class of 2009. One of my hubby's suppliers sent us tickets to the Legends of Hockey game at the Air Canada Centre (where the Leafs and Raptors play) yesterday afternoon. What a fun afternoon for a hockey fan!

The game was nothing more than a scrimmage game between two teams of hockey legends (Canada vs. The World). It included, just to name a few, Borje Salming, Peter Stastny, Dale Hawerchuck, Glenn Anderson, Lanny MacDonald, Mark Messier, Luc Robataille and a bunch more! Brett and Bobby Hull were there (Brett is a 2009 inductee) as was Steve Yzerman (also a 2009 inductee). We spotted Bob Probert just wandering through the crowd during the intermission.

Completely unrelated, we're attending an event this evening where we will be skating at the Air Canada Centre for charity. It's very cool for to be skating there this evening and thinking about all the great hockey legends that were on the same ice just yesterday afternoon.
