I think it's time, what with Football, hockey and Basketball season starting up soon, to make a Sports forum. Maybe we can get more input from our members with this.

I'm looking for a new hockey team to cheer for this year. Any suggestions? Only two more months until Lacrosse season starts...but no one here gives a rat's ass about that.

I was talking with Swish on the thread he started about the Phillies winning the first game. For some reason, he felt that whoever wins the first game always wins the series. Now that the series is over, there would be nothing left for me to say except, "told ya!"

I don't follow hocky much. I can never see the puck. It used to be fun to watch years ago, but these days there is just way too much skating between fights.

I know people who do follow lacrosse, but I don't. Sorry.

My poor beloved Phillies. Nevertheless, I'm sure they'll be back on top next year. This World Series is the most baseball I've watched in a long time.
